Insurance
Dr. Plant is in-network with:
- Aetna
- Optum / United Behavioral Health (including many UnitedHealthcare plans)
- Also in-network: Blue Shield of California PPO
We verify your benefits before the first session. You pay your plan’s copay, coinsurance or deductible.
Private pay
$200 per 50-minute session
- Nothing is submitted to insurance
- Required for coaching and personal-growth services
- Financial hardship options available; just ask

How do I pay?
Credit or debit card, charged before each scheduled session.
Cancellations
Please cancel at least 24 hours ahead. Missed sessions or late cancellations are charged the full session fee.
Do you provide superbills?
No. Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement aren’t provided.
Does insurance cover coaching?
No. Insurance covers treatment of a diagnosed condition. Coaching and personal-growth services are private pay.
Good Faith Estimate
If you don’t have insurance or choose not to use it, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs under the No Surprises Act. Ask for one anytime.
